Successful Business Acquisition
DENVER (2015) – Class VI Partners (formerly CapitalValue Advisors (“CVA”)) is pleased to announce the acquisition of TGC Components, LLC dba Colorado Components (“Colorado Components” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Gemini Investors and Timepiece Capital, by Wheel Pros, LLC, a portfolio company of Audax Group (“Wheel Pros”). Class VI served as the exclusive financial advisor to Colorado Components, including the Company’s financial sponsors, Gemini and Timepiece.

Founded in 2009 by Ben Johnson and his senior leadership team, Colorado Components (http://www.cocomponents.com) is a leading innovator, manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket wheels, tires and wheel accessories for the powersports and golf cart markets. Led by a team of industry veterans with deep roots in aftermarket manufacturing, the Company is a leader in the aftermarket tire and wheel industry in innovation, quality and customer service.
The Company’s tires and wheels are sold under three brands: MSA Offroad Wheels, EFX Performance Tires and Fairway Alloys. With locations in Dallas, Texas and Grand Junction, Colorado, the Company has experienced a 5-year compound annual growth rate of 26%.
Ben Johnson will continue to participate in the management of the Company along with Beau Bryant, General Manager and Vice President of Sales, and Brandon Brouillette, Vice President of Product Design and Marketing.
